Mental Score: A catch-all term for the intangibles that strokes-gained models miss: strategy, health, attitude, focus, team. Golfers with strong mental scores tend to outperform statistical expectations, while those with weak scores often underperform.
Conviction: Mental score reliability based on the recency of intel available when the score was calculated. HIGH = Very recent data. MEDIUM = Somewhat recent. LOW = Older data.
